Building A Content And Keyword Strategy
The basics of your Customer Engagement and Search Engine Optimization plans
Let’s start with how Wikipedia defines social media. According to Wikipedia, “The term most often refers to activities that integrate technology, social interaction, and content (words, pictures, videos and audio)”. The “technology and social interaction” components are a very intuitive part of social media, content is not. In fact, only 10% of all social media users are content contributors. But as entrepreneurs, we need to look at content differently than if we were just social media consumers. Content is the expression of value that helps ignite new relationships online. Relationships are two-way exchanges of value. In business, your initial online relationships are significantly defined by your content and how valuable it is perceived to be by your prospects. The two-way value exchange back to your business is when prospects become advocates or customers of your company (which can happen in any order).
