The most common mistake made in social media marketing is to act too quickly to make the sale. Social media is all about building relationships between people. Just like you would never try to “SELL” somebody that you just met at a business mixer, you don’t want to be that pushy sales person online either. The mistake is very understandable. It is easy to get excited about meeting a prospect online and wanting to let them know about the exciting opportunity that you have for them right away. Why wait, right?
